ABSTRACT
Femtosecond laser pulses were spatially modulated with fast reconfiguration of computer-generated holograms (CGHs) using a ferroelectric liquid-crystal-on-silicon spatial light modulator (FLCoS-SLM). Reconfiguration was executed at frame rate more than 1 kHz while changing the CGH every frame. The CGHs designed as binary phases because FLCoS-SLM can represent only values. optimization method modified by weighted iterative Fourier transform algorithm (IFTA) to make phase. fundamental performance reconstruction and femtosecond processing 6.3 pulse-to-pulse modulation demonstrated. speed will drastically change applicability science industrial fields open door for new applications.
