ABSTRACT
Many supply chains suffer from a lack of flexibility, adaptability, and robustness, which imposes customer dissatisfaction, transportation, backlog, rework costs on companies. The mobile chain (MSC) is newly developed idea that aims to rectify this problem. In kind chain, production, distribution, delivery product family are performed by factory (MF), can be carried truck, while stationary production sites no longer required. process completed directly at the customer's location following detail requirements. paper, mathematical model optimize routing problem as well scheduling each site, inspired real-world application modular in chemical industry. For purpose, due dates customers’ work orders transportation should considered simultaneously. results indicate if these objective functions taken into account separately, will sub-optimal solutions causing substantial financial losses for customers suppliers. proposed bi-objective using multi-objective optimization approach proffers Pareto frontier. Accordingly, decision-makers choose range solutions, zero delayed lowest costs. However, many cases it possible reach with just small increase
