ABSTRACT
Coating with viscous formulations has been essential in numerous industries as it can be a means for providing functionalization, additional properties, well other benefits. However, there have scarce studies that investigated and proposed methodologies literature. Continuous coating of powders liquids poses promising technology, which mentioned some studies, but not yet thoroughly investigated. This paper employs the use image processing analysis, combination statistical analysis particles to evaluate effectiveness foams powder beds. Two different sizes twin screw mixers are working continuous operation employed, new foaming device is fabricated used experiments coating. The effect materials process parameters (as example rotational speed, flowrate) on quality Image assess quality. results clearly showcase potential using purposes only mixing. hypothesis large bubble improve proven correct, they provide higher coatings compared their equivalent liquids, when mixer. Surprisingly, larger scale mixer, does show substantial mixing, regarding quality, however still requirement mix optimization achieving scale-up this process. These pathway industrial applications, requiring less energy effort process, pave way towards introducing more sustainable
