ABSTRACT
Excited states have been observed for the first time in very neutron-deficient odd-odd nucleus 57120La63. The γ rays assigned based on coincidences with lanthanum X measured JUROGAM 3 array and A=120 fusion-evaporation residues MARA separator. form a rotational band which decays to ground state via cascade of four low-energy transitions. Based systematic comparisons heavier La isotopes we assign spin-parity 4+ πh11/2⊗νh11/2 configuration band. nuclear shape has investigated by cranked Nilsson-Strutinsky model. Two quasiparticle plus triaxial rotor model calculations including np interaction nicely reproduce spin inversion between even- odd-spin cascades E2 transitions, giving credit as an important parameter responsible mechanism inducing inversion. position Fermi levels, particular neutrons, also strong impact chain nuclei.
