ABSTRACT
The thickness variation of a large bearing ring is an important measure effecting on the rotational accuracy and partly defining dynamic properties bearing. For example, when inner installed rotor shaft, final roundness profile sum shaft variations possible conical adapter sleeve. In present study, device method for measuring roller element rings was presented. To enhance measurement quality, each consisted 20 rounds data, which were averaged in frequency domain after Fast Fourier Transform. addition, quality analysed by comparisons with existing devices, coordinate machine (CMM) machine, repeatability measurements. analysis, both profiles their harmonic components investigated. results show, that overall agreements CMM satisfying good respectively. proposed similar to machine. According results, considered be valid deserve further interest investigation
