ABSTRACT
Malignant ascites is a common complication of advanced hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) that seriously affects the quality life and survival patients has poor clinical efficacy. In early stages, authors found combination Shengqing Jiangzhuo decoction (SQJZD)and Endostar can effectively alleviate symptoms malignant in with HCC reduce amount ascites. The purpose this study was to investigate mechanism action SQJZD HCC-related A BALB/c mouse model established by intraperitoneal inoculation H22 cells. mice were randomly divided into model, Endostar, high-, medium-, low-dose traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) combined groups. Normal from same batch used as normal group. TCM + groups intraperitoneally injected whereas equal amounts saline. Different doses administered each group, distilled water normal, volume body weight higher group than After treatment, decreased, especially Compared number regulatory T cells (Tregs) peripheral blood spleen significantly decreased; dendritic (DCregs), myeloid-derived suppressor (MDSCs), tumor-associated macrophages (TAMs) not changed; DCregs, MDSCs, TAMs increased. those numbers Tregs, increased or groups, decreased. Western blotting revealed percentage p-STAT3-positive liver decreased treated Endostar. may attenuate immunosuppression enhance antitumor immune response regulating STAT3 pathway HCC.
