ABSTRACT
In machine tools, Industry 4.0 functions can increase availability through predictive maintenance, while other improve productivity and workpiece quality process supervision optimisation. Many of these rely on data communication between systems from different suppliers. Requirements regarding latency computing vary widely depending the application. Based an analysis requirements, a smart controller for implementation is designed, using hypervisor to allow integration soft real-time best-effort applications.
