ABSTRACT
The brown bear (Ursus arctos L.) is the most widespread in world. It can be found across Europe, Asia and North America habitats ranging from forests to dry deserts tundra. One of best natural bears Europe are located Bulgaria. They situated mountain massifs: Rhodopes, Balkan Mountains, Rila, Pirin, Vitosha. species a strictly protected Nature protection act declared areas for conservation its habitats. That why it important estimate population size how this changed country during years. In work we study Rhodope using statistical data received National monitorings which were carried out autumn 2011 2012. observed incomplete contains some uncertainties. Here suggest approaches resolve problem obtain satisfactory Rhodopes. suggested applied other massifs.
