ABSTRACT
The high value and volume of Italian wine production determines a strong stimulus for counterfeiting, which generates negative consequences grape growers, winemakers consumers. In this context, IoT technologies the blockchain can serve as tools to ensure traceability, transparency efficiency along whole supply chain. Using primary data collected through interviews main growers wineries involved in chain Southern Apulia Region secondary data, acquired from previous scientific literature, study proposes framework traceability based on combination blockchain, Radio-Frequency Identification (RFID) Near Field Communication (NFC) tags, Serial Shipping Container Codes (SSCC) Quick Response (QR) codes. developed allows systematic storage information about commodities processes throughout chain, consumption packaging disposal and/or reuse (forward reverse flows). addition, it ensures transparency, safety, security all within serving quality management tool. is entered into system by farmers, bottlers accessible them, while distributors, consumers bottle logistics operators, only consult stored order know origin, quality, processing authenticity wines, without being able enter modify existent information.
