ABSTRACT
Failure to deliver safe and high-quality food not only causes costly crises foodborne illnesses, but also impairs consumer confidence the performance of cold chains. Industry 4.0 transformation in traceability systems i.e., transition from manual paper-based record keeping automatic identification sensor technologies, holds potential enable improved data transmission self-monitoring reduce quality issues. Selection these technologies meet a specific need requires measurement on how they perform across range criteria. An overview technology rating for criteria enabling industry chain is absent literature. This article presents summary relevant through iterative literature review expert validation. The selection are then combined into quantitative matrix that can help users determine which most beneficial given supply scenario.
