ABSTRACT
Abstract The Si-B binary system was thermodynamically assessed and described using the CompuTherm Pandat software. solution phases, including Liquid, diamond-Si β-B were treated as substitutional of which Gibbs energies expressed with Redlich-Kister polynomial functions. Meanwhile, compounds, SiB3, SiB6, SiBn, modeled stoichiometric compounds. thermodynamic parameters formulating various phases obtained equilibrium transition discussed. existent forms for in MG-Si melt forecast.
