ABSTRACT
Indonesia requires a considerable increase in rice production the future to keep pace with rapid population growth. Increased can be done through specific location-based inputs provision. This study aimed map land resources Subang Regency, West Java Province, at scale of 1:25,000, evaluate suitability on any mapping units and recommend local for paddy fields. The methodology used included unit delineation, delineation existing fields using SPOT-6 imagery, soil sampling laboratory analysis, evaluation results showed that most still allow intensification provision are location specific. In case include organic matter, lime, N, P K fertilizer, construction irrigation infrastructure. Using Geographic Information System, where input is necessary given detail. Moreover, beyond field, there areas actual use not field but identified as having potential development As fields, such require according characteristics differ from one place another spatially delineated.
