ABSTRACT
The determination of the origin salinity and mineralization groundwater from Plio-Quaternary aquifer Essaouira Basin was main goal this research, investigated by combined study chemical (particularly Br Cl) isotopic (18O 2H) compositions. / Cl ratio vs showed that mineralized waters shallow in is result of: (i) marine influence (precipitation aerosols directly ocean), (ii) dissolution evaporite minerals (halite), (iii) seawater intrusion iv) ion exchange mechanisms. 18O-2H diagram recharge maintained direct precipitation without evaporation runoff. Cl/18O existence a mixture trend seawater-groundwater.
