ABSTRACT
Soil-Aquifer Treatment systems are increasingly seen as a relatively inexpensive and complementary water quality enhancement process, which may be particularly relevant in scarcity scenarios. In this context, set of soil-column experiments were conducted aiming to replicate the conditions infiltration basins using soil depuration media for wastewater increment previous managed aquifer recharge. The results showed decrease contaminants analysed, when comparing inflow concentrations, showing that retention degradation occurring inside experimented soil. Ultimately conclusions achieved allowed define composition reactive layer installed real scale will act treatment method.
