ABSTRACT
The paper presents the concept of applying different communication signals as illuminating in a remote sensing application. Classical radio frequency and microwave regions is based on active radar technology. When specially designed, most cases pulse signal sent by to illuminate scene return echo analyzed. As more are freely available surveillance space, without its own illumination has been focus increasing interest. In detailed discussion properties for presented, together with experimental results carried out at Warsaw University Technology, Poland.
