ABSTRACT
In this work, a poly (methyl methacrylate) membrane containing micro-holes (MHs) as prototype of simple sensing platform lab-on-a-chip device has been developed for potential analysis clinical fluidic samples. A four probe electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) setup, with two electrodes placed on each side the membrane, was adopted monitoring MH (Fig. 1a). The setup used to investigate, if EIS is suitable sense trapping an analyte inside MHs. Latex micro-beads diameter 10 μm were test clogging Additionally, finite element model simulations performed using Comsol Multiphysics software theoretically evaluate sensitivity field measurement along
