ABSTRACT
The beneficial action of probiotics is questioned time and again due to the loss their survivability under gastrointestinal conditions, particularly gastric acid. In this experiment, a probiotic species was encapsulated improve its delivery distal parts, effects on production performance, gut health, microbial profile in broilers were investigated. A total 240 Arbor acres (AA) randomly allotted into 3 treatments with 8 replicate pens per treatment 10 each pen for 42 d. Dietary 1) basal feed without any additives (CON), 2) CON+15 ppm Virginiamycin (ANT), 3) CON+500 Lactobacillus paracaesi (ELP). result showed that addition ELP did not affect growth performance carcass characteristics significantly. However, increased ratio villus height crypt depth (P < 0.05) mRNA expression ZO-1 relative CON or ANT group. Similarly, qPCR dietary supplementation raised gene anti-inflammatory cytokine tended decrease proinflammatory cytokines resulting immunity. Moreover, chicks fed had lower malondialdehyde (MDA) than reactive oxygen (ROS) level serum. contrast, antioxidant capacity (TAOC) increase. ammonia ileum cecum chyme decreased group while propionic acid cecal content 0.05). 16S rRNA sequencing revealed modulated diversity composition microflora. At phylum level, Bacteroidetes enriched, Proteobacteria depleted genus Bacteroides compared control. results indicate oral via microcapsule could impart birds be used as an alternative antibiotics.
