ABSTRACT
The objective of this study was to identify and compare the quality characteristics concentrations various compounds in eggs from several pure breeds lines hens reared under same environmental conditions fed a commercial feed. A total 280 aged 52 56 wk belonging 14 different or worldwide were included study. Their characterized by wide differences egg parameters. Breeds with higher lutein content lower beta-carotene (e.g. Hy line brown, Cochin miniature, Ayam Cemani) (P < 0.001). Additionally, vitamin D, cholesterol, fatty acid contents also between eggs, 1.51 1.79 μg/100g; 14.1 15.4 mg/g fat, PUFA 19.6 22.8 g/100g SFA 32.8 37.8 fat respectively Lysozyme exhibited significant variation among breeds, some showing 2-fold compared others (0.31% - cochin 0.66% Faverolle) Our demonstrated that intensively selected hen like Hy-line Brown Hybrid had an improved seen increase many parameters (e.g., weight, Haugh unit, Lutein, vitamins MUFA) breed hens. In conclusion, genetic have impact on eggs.
