ABSTRACT
A high temperature steady-state experiment was used to generate levels up 1300 K. This level provides sufficient thermal energy for radiative heat transfer studies. Series of experiments were conducted with varying emissivity environments. These performed using OUTSET heated by 200 W direct-current power and an internal pressure below 1.3 Pa. The experimental results compare leading modeling software packages various solution methods. compared against COMSOL ANSYS Mechanical. Within the radiation view factors calculated hemi-cube Ray Shooting also ANSYS, which utilized factor method.
