ABSTRACT
With an embodied carbon content of 0.93 kg CO2/kg, cement is essential component concrete. As the global demand for concrete construction rising, research being conducted to replace with supplementary cementitious materials (SCMs). A variety SCMs are identified as having positive impacts on concrete's compressive strength and carbon. Coir Fibre Ash (CFA) well known in SCM from existing research, but its use has not been investigated perspective before. The paper adopts experimental methodology involving CFA at 3%, 6%, 9%, 12%, 15%, 18% 576 each m3 was therefore added. study aimed find out impact addition (CS), flexural (FS), splitting tensile (STS), modulus elasticity (MOE). determination made, RSM used develop model maximum accuracy. Samples were prepared 7, 14, 28 days. found be positively affecting CS, FS, STS, MOE till after which, because dominance silica dioxide CFA, it did show any improvement. Embodied decreasing increasing CFA. results followed by optimization provided highly validated equations predicting just using value SCM.
