ABSTRACT
A graphene-based metamaterial structure, consisting of a graphene strip (GS) and L-shaped graphene-rectangular block (GRB), is proposed to generate the plasmon-induced transparency (PIT) effect. The potential physical properties PIT effect are analyzed by using coupled mode theory (CMT). has unique characteristics controlling light propagation through static dynamic regulations, resulting in prospective switching application. performance optical switch evaluated different parameters, including geometric size, Fermi level polarization angle. modulation depth amplitude can reach 74.9% with specific level, while maximum extinction ratio 11.34 dB. Furthermore, dual triple effects achieved designing optimizing structure. multiple obtained 97.3%, which promising prospect terahertz switches.
