ABSTRACT
Over the last 50 years, conventional fossil-based plastics have become an integral part of our everyday lives. Apart from their low production costs, this is due to a number unique properties, including durability, strength, lightness, electrical and thermal insulation, resistance chemicals corrosion. The has increased 1.5 million metric tons in 1950 359 2018. Of total, 61.8 were produced Europe. There are various problems associated with plastic use disposal that pose serious threat both physical environment human health. Since public behaviour plays key role when it comes plastic, paper reports on study focused assessment attitudes towards bioplastics results showed packaging most frequent modality used among participants. In addition, majority participants aware waste can affect health therefore segregate properly dispose plastics. Also, even though respondents environmental related positive inclination using bioplastic materials, limited availability lack relevant information about problem for wider use. Departing assumption attitude determining factor consumption as whole particular, also sheds some light current situation, identifying trends gaps which should be addressed order encourage more rational
