ABSTRACT
Climate change impacts can escalate the deteriorating rate of infrastructures and impact infrastructure's functionality, safety, operation maintenance (O&M). This research explores climate change's influence on urban railway infrastructure. Given geographical diversity Sweden, network is divided into different zones utilizing K-means algorithm. Reliability analysis using Cox Proportional Hazard Model proposed to integrate meteorological parameters operational factors predict degree climatic infrastructure assets. The methodology validated by selecting a number switches crossings (S&Cs), which are critical components in railways for changing route, located stations across various Sweden. study databases proposes feature identify climate-related risks S&C Furthermore, covariates analyzed understand better dependency between asset health parameters. Infrastructure managers tailor suitable adaptation measures based location, age, other life cycle identifying vulnerable assets determining significant covariates. Sensitivity at one shows precipitation increment reveal considerable variation reliability.
