ABSTRACT
Significantly, soil fertility and rice variety influence growth. Under different conditions, Indica "Takanari (Tak)" outperformed Japonica "Koshihikari (Kos)" in terms of N-uptake biomass production. However, it is still unclear how Tak Kos respond to growth low-fertility (sandy) normal (alluvial) soils. Therefore, we conducted a pot experiment at Tsuruoka the 2022 rice-growing season. were transplanted individually interplanted (Tak+Kos) with main treatments alluvial soil, sandy, sand chemical fertilizers (sand+CF). Rice parameters (shoot height, tiller numbers, leaf color) weekly investigated, while measured after harvest. Shoot tillers, color, plant biomass, significantly among all treatments. had higher than for both planting modes. The ratios aboveground between interplanting their respective individual planting. 41.7%, 26.4%, 18.4% alluvial, sand+CF, respectively. Whereas, 41.9%, 36.6%, 26.6% Regardless low varieties increased competitive ability cultivar selection management fertilizing practices are required growing low-soil fields.
