ABSTRACT
Human pluripotent stem cell-derived vascular smooth muscle cells (hPSC-VSMCs) are of great value for disease modeling, drug screening, cell therapies, and tissue engineering. However, producing a high quantity hPSC-VSMCs with current culture technologies remains very challenging. Here, we report scalable method manufacturing in alginate hydrogel microtubes (i.e., AlgTubes), which protect from hydrodynamic stresses limit mass to <400 μm ensure efficient transport. The tubes provide friendly microenvironment, leading extremely efficiency. We have shown that can be generated 10 days viability, purity, yield (∼5.0 ×
