Severe anorectal injury secondary to jet ski accident: An important and increasing mechanism of injury

ABSTRACT
Traumatic injuries from jet ski-related accidents have increased in incidence over the past few decades. Anorectal are uncommon but typically arise high-speed ski accidents. We present a case of severe anorectal injury fall off back an accelerating ski.This reports on presentation, operative findings and management 22-year-old female with major internal external anal sphincter disruption sustained via unusual traumatic mechanism. Operative identified complete at 1 7 O'clock positions extra-peritoneal rectal perforation. Washout, suture repair end-colostomy were performed.Understanding potential severity insult mechanism is paramount to triaging managing trauma patients. Although this describes inconspicuous mechanism, resulting significant should prompt consideration future cases. In addition, article approach such difficult decision relating role type defunctioning colostomy protect any possible missed complex environment, protection repair.
