Disentangling facial recognition payment service usage behavior: A trust perspective

ABSTRACT
Facial recognition payment (FRP) technology has been used as an innovative digital approach to services. This study develops a model investigate how user trust—including trust in FRP service providers and FRP—affects users' continuance intentions toward We also propose that itself is affected by perceived vulnerability, security, response efficacy from privacy security perspective. Our research was empirically tested via partial-least-squares analysis with survey data collected 217 users China. The results show both positively affects intentions, FRP. Perceived affect contributes the literature on trust, offering practical implications for manage individual FRP-related concerns while enhancing FRP, which facilitates continuous use.
