AbstractSequential ring opening of propargylic aziridines (I) and (IV) with acetic acid and Ag(I)‐catalyzed nucleophilic recyclization provides a novel access towards hydroxymethylpyrrole derivatives (II) and (V), resp., in moderate to good yields.
