ABSTRACT
Abstract The asymmetric total synthesis of four structural analogues of (+)-clusianone from a common advanced intermediate is described. Asymmetric induction is achieved through the use of enantioselective ACC alkylation, providing the common advanced intermediate with an er of 99:1.
