ABSTRACT
Transport network criticality analyses aim at identifying important segments in a transport network. Such studies are often based on the utilitarian principle, where of segment is assessed its contribution to aggregate performance system. To allow for use alternative moral principles, I systematically operationalize concepts from equity literature into an equity-based analysis framework. There two main ideas this framework: calculation equity-weighted demand distributive principles and adaptation user equilibrium assignment algorithm. Using Bangladesh freight as case study, show that different sets emerge being critical when used. The some pairs example global equalization proportionality, even produces negative ranking correlation. This implies links which considered be one principle not all other one. Selection either explicitly or implicitly, inevitable step analysis. Hence, it advised multiple make deliberative selection considering could expose previously overlooked segments.
