G6: A web-based library for graph visualization

Authoring graph visualization poses great challenges to developers due its high requirements on both domain knowledge and development skills. Although existing libraries tools reduce the difficulty of generating visualization, there are still many challenges. We work closely with formulate several design goals, then implement G6, a web-based library for visualization. It combines template-based configuration usability flexible customization expressiveness. To enhance efficiency, G6 proposes range optimizations, including state management interaction modes. demonstrate capabilities through an extensive gallery, quantitative performance evaluation, expert interview. was first released in 2017 has been iterated 317 versions. served as thousands applications received 8312 stars GitHub.
