ABSTRACT
Forming light-transmitting structures on c-Si photovoltaics to transmit visible light without wavelength dependency is a promising strategy realize neutral-color transparent (c-Si TPVs). However, dry etching, which used form structure c-Si, inevitably causes nanoscale surface damages such as scallops and plasma-induced damage in c-Si. This aggravates carrier recombination, decreases power conversion efficiency (PCE) of TPVs. Here, we propose an effective chemical treatment method for removing from microholes. A large TPV after the exhibits high PCE 14.5% at transmittance 20%. The also enables systematic control hole size (167 nm/s), and, thus, easily tuned 10% 70%. proposed satisfies three development factors (1) PCE, (2) opportunity scale up, (3) facile tuning
