ABSTRACT
To expand crop planting areas, reestablishment of latitude adaptation based on genetic variation in photoperiodic genes can be performed, but it is quite time consuming. By contrast, a variety that already exhibits multi-latitude has the potential to increase its areas more widely and quickly available. However, importance varieties have not been systematically described. Here, combining daylength-sensing data with cropping system elite rice maize varieties, we found gradual daylength sensing coupled optimum modes an enhanced capacity for China. Furthermore, this expanded their indirectly improved China's nationwide unit yield. Thus, coupling process enhance adaptability excellent represents exciting approach deploying improve yield developing countries.
