In 20 10-year followup available. Compensatory hypertrophy complete postoperatively: effective plasma flow remaining kidney 32.5% higher than preoperatively. The increase remained stable for at least a year. degree compensatory significantly greater male (46.9% after week) female (26.7%). occurred all age groups it most pronounced less 30 years old. followed 10 decreased from 387.7ml. per minute 367.4ml. years. This result is similar decrease seen normal population. According our results, donation by persons does not lead long-term function. © 1991 American Urological Association Education Research, Inc.FiguresReferencesRelatedDetailsCited ByAguilar Palacios D, Caraballo E, Tanaka H, Wang Y, Suk-Ouichai C, Ye Lin L, Li J, Abouassaly R Campbell S (2020) Parenchymal Mass Radical NephrectomyJournal Urology, VOL. 204, NO. 1, (42-49), Online publication date: 1-Jul-2020.Zabell Demirjian S, Lane B, Derweesh I, Isharwal Wu D (2017) Predictors Survival Cancer SurgeryJournal 199, 2, (384-392), 1-Feb-2018.Takagi T, Mir M, Sharma N, Remer Kaouk J (2014) Hypertrophy Partial AdultsJournal 192, 6, (1612-1619), 1-Dec-2014.Osman Hamed Moustafa F, Barakat Elhameed Mosbah A, Mansour Gaballah M Shaaban A (2013) Is Solitary Kidney Really More Resistant Ischemia?
