ABSTRACT
ABSTRACT The RemoveDEBRIS mission has been the first to successfully demonstrate, in-orbit, a series of technologies that can be used for active removal space debris. started late in 2014 and was sponsored by grant from EC saw consortium led Surrey Space Centre develop mission, concept in-orbit demonstrations, terminated March 2019. Technologies capture large debris, like net harpoon, have tested together with hardware software retrieve data on non-cooperative target debris kinematics observations carried out board cameras. final demonstration consisted deployment drag-sail increase drag satellite accelerate its demise.
