ABSTRACT
In light of concerning evidence that many young people with mental disorders are not receiving appropriate health intervention, school-based screening has been advocated as one way to improve identification at-risk youth. Despite having much promise, universal in schools remains a relatively uncommon practice internationally. Various barriers deter school psychologists and counsellors from have identified, including lack resourcing implement screening, knowledge about the mechanics how carry out program, concern manage anticipated increased workload generated by following up identified students. this practice-based paper we discuss four-stage process guides establishment specific reference overcoming perceived barriers.
