ABSTRACT
The following conjectures concerning the Analogy observed in formation of some Tenses Greek Verb seem worthy farther inquiry; for, if well founded, they may be useful towards establishing juster rules for instances; and, particularly, will account certain forms Homer and Hesiod, which, being apparent violations usual analogy, have perplexed grammarians, reduced them to necessity assuming imaginary new Presents, without authority, no other reason, but such anomalous forms.
