ABSTRACT
Abstract Within international institutions such as the International Criminal Court (ICC), lawyers increasingly encounter managerial practices which are designed to improve organizational efficiency and cost-effectiveness. Charting this trend, scholars have analyzed these with a view make them more legitimate. However, scholarly focus overlooks role of in legitimizing thus sustaining they embedded.
