ABSTRACT
Antonovsky's salutogenic model of the "Sense Coherence" (SOC) is an important resource in dealing with chronic diseases. The aim this study was to investigate SOC as a psychological factor and its correlation illness, subjective well-being, health-related quality life (QoL) patients Parkinson disease (PD) compared other diseases.Fifty-one suffering from PD 59 participants non-neurological diseases took part study. were assessed through medical routine examinations all asked complete several questionnaires for assessment. In order compare controls group, t-tests, U-tests, multivariate analysis conducted. Multiple regression calculated identify predictor variables.Patients characterized by lower higher scores concerning depression control group (CG). Furthermore, showed fewer active coping strategies well-being. There correlations between depression, coping, well-being QoL, SOC. had particular predictive value regards outcome "quality life" strategies.There are number differences regarding characteristics mechanisms neurological patients. correlated factors; however, there no data. predicts pertaining mechanism QoL.
