ABSTRACT
Preparation of rare earth ions doped photoluminescence materials with controlled morphology was desired to fulfill the requirement different applications. In work, convex-lens-like NaYF4 microcrystals various were prepared by adjusting preparation parameters including reaction time, temperature, NaOH concentration, ratio oleic acid 1-octadecene, and types doping ions. A possible growth mechanism is proposed based on time temperature-dependent evolution. The formation micro-convex-lens includes three processes nanoparticles self-assemble, dissolution–nucleation, regrowth. Doping dependent near-infrared upconversion luminescence properties investigated excited at 808 nm. visible observed in Er3+, Yb3+/Er3+, Nd3+/Er3+, Nd3+/Yb3+/Er3+ microcrystals, obtained Nd3+, Nd3+/Yb3+, microcrystals. exhibit mechanisms. energy transfer Er3+ → Yb3+ Nd3+ Yb3+/Er3+ Nd3+/Er3+ respectively. emission from mechanisms Er3+.
