ABSTRACT
The concentrations and formation pathways of mono- to octa-chlorinated dibenzo-p-dioxins (PCDDs) dibenzofurans (PCDFs) were investigated in main organochemical industries. High levels PCDDs PCDFs detected. total 27 PCDD/F congeners chloranil, 2,4-D, 1,4-dichlorobenzene 5302397 ± 8944449, 20963 15908, 242 67 pg g(-1), respectively, the less-chlorinated 12006 20155, 9536 5594, 195 94 respectively. distribution trends less more chlorinated PCDD/Fs similar different chemical plants because their pathways, which may also be related degree chlorination products purification processes. 1,2,3,4-TeCDF 2,4,8-TrCDF selected as model molecules calculate bond dissociation energy, showing that 2-MCDF, 3-MCDF, 2,8-DCDF are easily formatted shown by analytical results. proposed explain why 2-MoCDF, 2,8-DiCDF, 2,4,8-TrCDF, 2,3,4,7,8-PeCDF dominant is largest contributor I-TEQs most studies.
