ABSTRACT
The Ni nanoparticles supported on Al2O3 metal oxides with different Ni2+/Al3+ molar ratios from 1/1 to 6/1 (denoted as NixAL-MO) derived Ni–Al hydrotalcite precursors (NixAl-LDHs) were prepared and applied CO2 methanation at a low temperature. By adjusting the ratios, alkaline reducibility of catalysts designed, showed efficient catalytic performance Ni5AL-MO catalyst demonstrated highest conversion 89.4% 250 °C. superior property was related basic property, readily reducible NiO species, cooperation sites. reaction intermediate species formed surface identified by in situ FTIR analysis, reduction mechanism revealed. Moreover, Ni5Al-MO had excellent resistance carbon deposition sintering after long duration. NixAl-LDHs precursor show promising potential for
