ABSTRACT
Two modified zeolites, ZSM-5-Mg(OH)2 and ZSM-5-Mg(NO3)2, were achieved by Mg(NO3)2 impregnation methods with or without NH3·H2O as a precipitator, respectively. The Brønsted acid sites of ZSM-5 can be reduced Mg modification, especially for the strong acid. results from XRF XPS showed surface Mg-rich both zeolites. However, concentration on is significantly lower than that indicating addition in could suppress enrichment surface. methanol conversion significant effects Mg-modification method catalytic performance. Severe rich distribution favored higher propene selectivity at cost reduction lifetime. suppressed prolonged lifetime maintained light olefin high level. This work demonstrated performance adjusted modification via tuning distribution.
