ABSTRACT
Well-defined nanoparticles of rutile (with the size 5 nm) were successfully prepared by unusual solid-state transformation an amorphous precursor in well-defined nanospace a mesoporous silica template (SBA-15) at room temperature. An aqueous colloidal suspension was obtained dissolution SBA-15 and subsequent pH adjustment. The isolated used for H2 evolution from methanol solution UV irradiation.
