ABSTRACT
This study aimed to investigate the effect of supplementation branched-chain amino acids (BCAAs) at different ratios in protein restriction diets on lipid metabolism a finishing pig model. The BCAA (leucine/isoleucine/valine = 2:1:1 and 2:1:2) ameliorated poor growth performance carcass characteristics, particularly high fat mass caused by protein-restricted diet. Serum adiponectin increased while leptin decreased comparison 12% CP group. also low-protein expression AMPK SIRT1 restriction. mRNA levels peroxisome proliferation-activated receptor-γ (PPARγ) acetyl-CoA carboxylase (ACC) were highest group lowered or 2:1:2 In conclusion, BCAAs supplemented an adequate ratio range (2:1:2 is recommended) reduced could modulate accelerating secretion adipokines fatty acid oxidation.
