ABSTRACT
Starch degradation with fruit ripening is closely related to the aging process and flavor formation in apples. In this study, ethylene, 1-methylcyclopropene (1-MCP), apples treated at different temperatures were used determine key genes of starch-sugar metabolism during storage. Compared 4 °C storage, 20 storage promoted starch sugar accumulation addition, ethylene treatment apples, while 1-MCP showed opposite effects. The expression MdBams indicated crucial role MdBam5 conversion. Transient overexpression significantly reduced content Furthermore, MdWRKY32 directly combined promoter activated expression, which may promote Therefore, it was concluded that be involved regulation postharvest by activating expression.
