ABSTRACT
Amomum tsao-ko is an important spice and medicinal plant that has received extensive attention in recent years for its high content of bioactive constituents with the potential food additives drug development. Diarylheptanoids are major characteristic compounds A. tsao-ko; however, biochemical molecular foundation diarylheptanoids fruit unknown. We performed comparative metabolomics transcriptomics studies ripening stages fruit. The chemical vary different harvest periods, have a trend to decrease or increase GO enrichment analysis revealed hormone signaling pathways including ethylene-activated pathway, salicylic acid, jasmonic abscisic response hydrogen peroxide were associated ripening. biosynthetic phenylpropanoid, flavonoids, biosynthesis displayed levels networking phytochemistry investigation isolated identified 10 three new compounds. candidate genes related obtained by coexpression network phylogenetic analysis. Two key been verified biosynthesize linear diarylheptanoids. This integrative approach provides gene regulation diarylheptanoids, which can be used improve quality as medicine.
