ABSTRACT
Lipid metabolism is closely related to obesity and its complications. Our previous study found that ginsenoside Rk3 (Rk3), a natural bioactive substance derived from ginseng, can effectively alleviate obesity-induced colitis, while impact on the improvement of lipid disorder remains unclear. Here, we demonstrated significantly alleviated inflammation, oxidative stress, dysregulation in high-fat diet-induced colitis C57BL/6 mice. The potential mechanism by which mitigated colon inflammation context may involve modulation polyunsaturated fatty acid with specific attention n-6 acids, linoleic acid, arachidonic acid. intervention markedly reduced production pro-inflammatory factors (PGE2, PGD2, TXB2, HETE, HODE) inhibiting cyclooxygenase lipoxygenase pathways, enhancing anti-inflammatory (EET diHOME) via cytochrome P450 pathways. findings suggest drug improve intestinal regulating metabolism.
