ABSTRACT
New experimental data of the dynamic viscosity and density pentane, octane, nonane, decane, dodecane are reported. The method was validated by determining comparing decane with previously published in international literature, obtaining a maximum deviation 12 μPa·s 0.35 kg·m–3 for density, respectively. measurements were performed simultaneously using capillary tube viscometer vibrating densimeter at temperatures between 293 353 K pressures up to 30 MPa. estimated relative combined expanded uncertainties (k = 2), considering impurities compounds (including content water), 0.9% 0.13% over entire measurement range. successfully correlated as function pressure temperature an empirical model proposed this study. Also, modeled equation literature. Besides, used obtain isothermal compressibilities isobaric thermal expansivities.
