ABSTRACT
Copper-mediated direct ortho-C–H amination of arenes has been accomplished with the aid easily removable bidentate pyridine N-oxide as a directing group. The use free cyclic secondary amines and anilines aminating agents inexpensive copper acetate makes strategy more effective favorable from economic point view. This reaction is compatible wide range functional groups to synthesize variety amine-containing products high interest. method also allows short synthesis central scaffold pharmaceutically relevant Staphylococcus aureus Sortase A inhibitors.
